BRINGING PURIM JOY & CONNECTION TO KEF FAMILIES

This past Sunday, our KEF families came together at InflataNation Colindale for our annual family Purim celebration. Approximately 200 family members joined a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere filled with energy, laughter and endless opportunities for fun and connection.

Over 85 dedicated volunteers were on hand, providing one-to-one care for the children and enabling parents to relax and enjoy meaningful time together.

KEF family events are so much more than moments of fun and entertainment - they provide a vital space for families facing similar challenges to connect, recharge and feel truly understood.

Alongside the main family event, smaller, age-appropriate celebrations were held for our older boys’ and older girls’ divisions, ensuring that every KEF participant could enjoy the Purim celebrations in a way suitable to them.

KEF is a lifeline for families with a child who has a disability. Through a wide range of respite and support services, we help ensure that even while facing daily challenges, families feel supported, strengthened and empowered. A mother’s recent testimonial beautifully captures our mission: “Words can’t describe our immense gratitude to you. When I say I don’t know what I would do without KEF, I mean that. KEF is a family, really and truly, who opened their hearts to our family.

We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our community, whose generosity enables us to provide these essential services. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who collected and donated to KEF this Purim. Your kindness, dedication and generosity make our work possible and allow us to continue bringing joy, connection and vital support to KEF families.
