WINTER CAMP 2025

12/2025

THE KEF WINTER MAGIC

This winter holiday, KEF once again transformed an ordinary week into something extraordinary - a place where magic was not just a theme, but a lived experience.

Children and young adults with a wide range of disabilities took part in KEF Winter residential camp, supported by more than 170 dedicated volunteers, professionals and medical staff. Together, they created a space filled with warmth, happiness, connection, and belonging - the magic that defines KEF.

The theme of this year’s Winter Camp was “KEF Magic” - a concept that reflects the unique atmosphere KEF creates, where children are supported, understood and encouraged to thrive in an environment designed specifically around their individual needs. Camp was structured across multiple divisions, allowing activities and support to be tailored appropriately with a diverse programme of activities and outings.

For families, the impact of KEF Winter Camp extended well beyond the camp itself. Parents highlighted the importance of the respite provided, as well as the reassurance of knowing their children were receiving expert care in a warm and nurturing setting. One parent shared, “KEF’s magic is everything. It is friendship, fun, belonging and extraordinary care for our daughter. For us as a family, it is the comfort of knowing she is truly happy and safe.”

Another parent commented on the people who bring the experience to life, stating, “The volunteers create the KEF magic. Their kindness, warmth, patience, and love make everyone feel at home at KEF.”

KEF Winter Camp once again demonstrated KEF’s commitment to providing life-enhancing experiences for children with disabilities and vital respite for their families. Through thoughtful planning, professional care and a deeply committed team, KEF continues to create a community defined by inclusion, trust and magic.

We have endless gratitude to the incredible volunteers, staff, medical team, supporters, donors and the wider KEF community whose dedication, generosity, and belief make KEF’s work possible. It is through the collective efforts that the KEF Magic continues to grow, bringing meaningful impact to the lives of children and their families year after year.

Since Winter Camp, KEF and the wider community have been faced with an unimaginable tragedy: the loss of our very dear Rochel Leah Fulda. Rochel Leah was a cherished and integral part of KEF for over ten years. She was deeply loved by all who knew her - always bright, always caring and truly a ray of sunshine. Her kindness, warmth, and ability to uplift others were extraordinary. She lived with remarkable Emunah and Bitachon, and her perspective on life left a lasting impact on everyone around her. Rochel Leah’s presence brought the KEF magic to life, and her absence will be so deeply felt across the community. Rochel Leah’s memory will continue to inspire the joy, care, and sense of belonging that defines KEF.
